How do I create an upsell price?
Add an Upsell Discounted Price to any Extra. Edit the Extra that you want to offer at a discount to those customers that haven't bought during booking. For example, if the price of your guestbook is £60, you might make your Upsell Discounted Price £50.
You can add an Upsell Price to an Extra by going to Assets>Extras and then select the Extra you wish to add an Upsell Price to. You will then need to select the Upsell field and enter a discounted price, you also have the option to add an Upsell sales pitch to promote your item further. Your Upsell Extra will then appear on your customers client portal as seen below.

You can also set a time as to when your Upsell item appears on the client portal. To time this go to Top User Menu > Settings>Client Portal>Upsell Display Time Limit. In the field below you can enter how many minutes after the customer has made the booking should this Upsell Extra appear.
Limit By Event Type
Limit your Upsell Extras to only display in client portals for certain Event Types. Edit any effected Extras, and select the Event Types that you want them to be applicable to. Go to your Extra's Additional Settings and select all Event Types that apply. These Extras will only appear as Upsells in the client portal (as well as on the booking form) for these event types. However, bear in mind that Upsell Extras cannot be limited by Packages, only Event Types.
Note:
We can not hide Extra from the booking form and have them show in the upsells only. As that isn't currently possible in the system.
How do I amend the written content on the upsells section within the client portal?

Head to Top User Menu > Settings > Translate > Client Portal/manage > Special Offers. Here you can edit the text that appears to the customer ie. 'Special offers just for @name'

Scheduled Notifications
You can use Scheduled notifications for automated up-selling. This is one we use for our guestbook... It could probably do with tweaking, but it's still bringing in revenue.
Conditionals:

Booking Does Not Contain Guestbook Balance condition None
